Defense
One of the most fun types of blades to watch battle, it is difficult to create defense types because there aren't a lot of quality wheels, this is because a deciding factor of defense is weight and there aren't very many heavy wheels.
Attack Defenders
Attack Defenders-these are blades that use the ball series bottoms (WB JB) these blades turn their defense into their offense. Using the weight of their wheels and the high friction of their bottoms they deal massive damage to their opponents and can even meet attack types on their own path bashing them into the pits of the stadium. The larger ball series has high friction but not more than the rubber defensive bottoms so they last longer but have less stamina than blades that use Wide defense.
Rubber Defenders
Rubber Defenders-powerful defense types that use rubber sharp, rubber semi flat, and rubber ball. To create a low stamina defense type with high friction your best bet is to use wheels that would normally have high recoil such as gravity perseus 105 rubber sharp it has low stamina but its recoil is used to reflect its opponents attacks when combined with rubber sharp.a bottom that combines rubber defense and attack defense is rubber ball it has the friction of the rubber bottoms and the speed and pattern of wide ball.
Stamina Defenders
Stamina Defenders-these are defense types that use the defense series of performance tips. The defense tips work by balancing on a tip until attacked to preserve stamina. When attacked they use their wide surface area to create friction with the stadium floor and keep themselves from being maxed out. These defense types mimic the consistent battle results of stamina types while having more defensive power than them.
Conclusion
There's nothing wrong with liking one of these forms of defense types over another, it simply depends on preference. The weakness of each is different and each has different strengths. The rubber defenders have low stamina but are impervious most of the time, the high stamina defenders are more vulnerable to max outs but can defend better than stamina types, the attack defenders can easily wear down their opponent’s stamina but are vulnerable to max-outs because they linger around the edge of the stadium. The 3 types of defense are very general and can be combined in some cases, an example being rubber ball which combines rubber defenders with attack defenders.
